NATURE, READ SLOWLY
At ORII, every natural Feicui stone is selected, cut, shaped and set by hand. Colour, translucency, texture and inclusions guide every decision. The process is never about making stones look the same; it is about allowing each one to become fully itself.
01 · READ THE STONE
It begins with what nature has already made.
Before a single cut is made, we study the rough in changing light. Colour, translucency, texture and natural inclusions reveal where the stone wants to go. Selection is an act of patience: we look for character, not uniformity.
02 · SHAPE & POLISH
Slow work brings light to the surface.
The stone is shaped and polished in gradual stages. Curves are refined by hand, edges are softened and the surface is brought to a quiet lustre. The aim is not perfection, but balance—between colour, light and touch.
03 · SET BY HAND
A setting made for one stone only.
Once the Feicui is ready, its metal setting is adjusted around that exact piece. The stone is placed, secured and finished by hand so its natural profile remains the focus. The result carries the trace of both nature and the maker.
